Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Direct Tribal Loans collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us on our request form, such as your name, address, email, phone number, date of birth, income, employment, the loan amount and purpose, bank account details and the last four digits or full Social Security number where lenders require it.
We also collect technical information automatically when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed and referring site, using cookies and similar technologies.
How we use information
We use your information to process your loan request and share it with lenders and lending partners who may make you an offer, to verify your identity and prevent fraud, to communicate with you about your request, and to operate, secure and improve our site.
With your consent where required, we may also send you marketing messages about financial products. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, measure traffic and understand which pages are useful. Some cookies are set by analytics or advertising partners.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the request form works.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email, and out of text messages by replying STOP. Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what information we hold, to correct it, to delete it and to opt out of certain sharing.
To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request." We will verify your identity before responding. Lenders that received your request have their own privacy policies; contact them directly to exercise rights with them.
Data security and retention
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our service, meet legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements, and then delete or de-identify it.
Children and changes
Our site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
